Beaver Hooping Needle - Used During the Fur Trade Era 1825-1840

This is a Period Beaver Hooping Needle used in the Fur Trade Era to Attach Beaver pelts to Willow hoops while drying. 

The Needle has been forged by a Black Smith in Utah, Hyrum Hunter

The Needle is approximately 4-1/2" Long
