The best way I have found to Re-Sharpen or stand the edge up on the blade is to use my Lansky sharpener pulling the stone towards you on the top from the flat edge up the sloped edge. Using a small amount of oil you can draw the stone up the slope side trying to sharpen the flat side for scraping the deer hide.
I have also used a very fine flat file with oil to do the same thing. I will try to draw a diagram and upload with each blade. (More Updates and Descriptive diagram or Video to follow)
